How we teach

Our Curriculum

Creative Curriculum, aligned to national early childhood education standards, taught by people who know your child.

Our curriculum

We base our curriculum on Creative Curriculum, which aligns with national early childhood education standards. Teachers use it to build developmentally appropriate activities for their own classes. Every September, an introduction and overview of the coming year’s curriculum goes home to parents. Toddler families receive a monthly curriculum newsletter and preschool families receive a weekly one. Both explain the current theme and suggest activities you can do at home to reinforce what your child is learning in class.

Our mission

Our mission is to nurture and help children to be confident, responsible, creative, cooperative, and resilient individuals. We follow the Developmentally Appropriate Practice standards set out by the National Association for the Education of Young Children as our philosophy.

What it means day to day

  • Creative Curriculum, aligned to national early childhood education standards
  • Developmentally Appropriate Practice, the NAEYC standards, as our teaching philosophy
  • A curriculum overview sent home every September, so you know the year ahead
  • Monthly newsletters for toddler families, weekly for preschool families
  • Activities you can repeat at home to reinforce what your child learned in class

How it changes as they grow

The curriculum evolves with your child. Infants and toddlers focus on sensory exploration and routines; preschoolers move into structured lessons and collaborative learning.
